SkiEarth.com, fomerly Direct Ski Reports, has been serving skiers worldwide since 1996. We are the only website to link skiers directly to ski area websites worldwide, bypassing third party ski reports and reservation systems. Skiers go directly to the horse's mouth, so to say. Our webmaster is a seasons pass holder at Mad River Glen, Vermont and Smugglers' Notch, Vermont, and enjoys the challenge of skiing twelve months a year - mostly in New England.

Our site is designed using the 'KISS' rule - Keep It Simple & Stupid. No overwhelming ads, images, or other bandwidth-hogging features. We want you to find what you're looking for as quickly as possible.

How do you find a hardcore ski area - a place where skiing (or boarding) rules?
Look for a place...
Where skiers are in line before the lift attendants arrive for work.
Where people eat lunch out of a brown bag on the lift.
Where everyone is asleep by 9:00 pm.
Where the slopes are deserted and the action is in the woods.
Where the greybeards ski better than you.
