How do you find a hardcore ski area - a place where skiing (or boarding) rules?
Look for a place...
Where skiers are in line before the lift attendants arrive for work.
Where people eat lunch out of a brown bag on the lift.
Where everyone is asleep by 9:00 pm.
Where the slopes are deserted and the action is in the woods.
Where the greybeards ski better than you.

Utah? B.C.? Vermont? It doesn't matter. That's where I want to ski.
